When you think of electronics services, you don't necessarily associate it with the terms forest and nature at first glance. But that's exactly what Walter Dörich Metallbau GmbH did for their innovative twitter box. She got the support of SYS TEC electronic for the technological optimization and production of the electronic components.
The Zwitscherkiste is a flexibly playable and adaptable audio station that can use up to 12 different audio files. The product story itself began with bird calls, hence the name.
Voice announcements can also be played, e.g. in German and English. It is heavy, the twitter box and embedded in a weatherproof housing with a stainless steel base plate. It can be used in a variety of ways, is very robust and works completely self-sufficient in terms of energy. The power required to play the audio files is generated by a hand-operated dynamo for the built-in energy storage. The audio files are stored on an MP3 player. The housing, logo, labeling and the number of selection buttons (up to a maximum of 6 buttons) can be individually adapted depending on the installation location and thematic structure.
Originally, the customer only wanted to produce the electronic assembly as required by the customer. However, the SYS TEC electronic team quickly recognized the potential for improvement and so the entire circuit concept was optimized. In the implementation, SYS TEC electronic revised the arrangement, used more powerful components such as supercapacitors and switched the design to SMD components. After completing the work, it was possible to reduce the time required for charging and increase the playback time of audio files.
And so it chirps in the trees, it rattles in the box and you think: "I'm standing in the forest!" But you're not only standing in the forest, but maybe on a nature trail or in the museum in front of the ZWITSCHERKISTE, which tells you a lot about nature , culture and history explained. Just a little more comfortable now.
